Another award for 720 Heartbeats!

On Monday morning I got an email with a subject “720 Heartbeats is a Winner!”

At first I thought it was spam. Then I remembered I submitted my book to another competition, first being Breakthrough Fiction Awards, where I’ve won. So I opened the email and started reading.

We are pleased to announce that your book, 720 Heartbeats, is a winner in the 2019 IAN Book of the Year Awards!

When judging completed, 720 Heartbeats, was selected as a finalist in one category: “Novella.”

Wow. Now I didn’t win, but I was among the finalists, a serious contender for the title. And I received a nice badge to show around.
